What’s on offer: Programming details!

Hi, writers!

We’ve been cooking up ideas for our time together, and also hammering out some details. Today we’re excited to share a glimpse of what attendees can expect!

As a reminder, we are still accepting new folks to join our event week (through 12/12); please do share with writers who might be excited about some of the below :)

🥳 Two virtual happy hours—one to say hi and get to know each other on Monday, and another for wrapping up with some fun on Friday.

💡 Daily prompted writing sessions—a chance to do some low-stakes, playful writing in good company (prompts will also be posted for folks who can’t attend in real time).

🏃🏽 Three writing sprints—timed writing sessions intended to unblock and produce wordcount, alongside your fellow sprinters.

🙋 Office hours: Each of the four Wholehearted Writers facilitators will host an hour-long Zoom session where we can chat about how your writing’s going and topics of interest to you. Bring questions and ideas!

💬 Eight hour-long opportunities to learn with our fantastic speakers, plus a panel on editing and writer coaching with the four of us:

👋 Daily chat channels hosted by the facilitators and focused on each day’s theme.

📄 Worksheets to help participants reflect on their processes, practices, sticking points, goals, and dreams.

💖 Dedicated spaces within our Slack server for everybody to introduce yourselves, chat and learn about writing and your writing lives, ask the facilitators questions, and set and report back on daily goals or wishes!

Wow! We can’t wait :)

Until next time,
