Speakers highlight: Wholehearted Writers Week day 5!
Hi, writers!
Just a quick reminder that applications for Wholehearted Writers Week close November 12, a week and two days from today.
We’re so excited to share more details about our speakers related to each conference theme! Here’s the final installment …
On day 5, our featured theme will be Readers: Diverse paths to sharing your work with the world, whether you want to “publish” or not. Get to know our speakers who will be sharing about this topic:
Elizabeth Jarrett Andrew is the author of three books on writing: Writing the Sacred Journey: The Art and Practice of Spiritual Memoir; Living Revision; and The Release: Finding Creativity and Freedom After the Writing is Done. She has also published a memoir, a novel, and a collection of personal essays–perhaps a source of inspiration especially for you multi-genre artists out there!
Elizabeth will be leading a workshop entitled The Release: How Writing in an Economy of Gifts Liberates Writers. You can learn more about her writing and teaching at www.spiritualmemoir.com and www.elizabethjarrettandrew.com. Or check out her weekly writing prompt newsletter!
Laura Stanfill is the author of Imagine a Door, a book for writers, and the publisher of Forest Avenue Press. She has won the Oregon Literary Fellowship for Publishing twice, and she earned a certificate from the Yale Publishing Course. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
Laura will be speaking about The Many Paths to Publishing. You can find more about her books here: https://laurastanfill.com/ and about Forest Avenue Press here: https://www.forestavenuepress.com/.
Until next time,
Wholehearted Writers Team
